Kirkland Town Park

Kirkland Town Park offers the features cyclocross racers love in a race. It offers fast runs and technical features for a well balanced course. It starts with a staged start on pavement leading into open lawn then barriers and a brief trail in the woods with a sharp turn into a short incline. After a little more grass and couple of hillside zig-zags there is more fast lawn with an off camber twist. It continues through some fast trails (that are also slippery when wet) as well as some that will make you question your will to have this much fun. Next comes a turn down a fast but loose trail that zig-zags along a stream leading to a leg-burning runup. After some hard pack paths there’s a sand pit to test your skills before hitting the paved section on the way to the finishing stretch.
For the second year we have the McDonalds Kids Race. Bring the family for a day of cycling fun in the park!
