The Ride for Missing Children is an awareness/fundraising event for the New York/Mohawk Valley office of the National center for Missing and exploited Children. The Ride Began in 1995 when Team Sara rode their bicycles 529-miles from Utica to Washington, D.C. to raise awareness to the plight of all missing and exploited children.

The purpose of the ride is to honor all missing and exploited children and raise public awareness about the plight of all missing children and the need for child saftey eductaion. The ride also raises funds to support the missing children's poster distribution. The date for the 2004 Ride is Friday, May 20, 2005.
