April 22: Canal Clean Sweep sponsored by Complete Streets coordinator, Sara Scott at the Rome section @ 3pm. Would like volunteers from MVBC. Website click on Mohawk Valley, then look for Healthier community Rome
May 18 Ilion Gorge, June 16 Newport Rd, and July 20 TDB: On 3rd Thurs of the month for Hill Time Trails hosted By Rich Rutishauser 7 pm. Any questions contact rrutis@aol.com
May 13: Ride around Oneida Lake starting from Verona State Park. Ride leaves at 9am
May 21: Gravel Ride, 1 pm at Chris Welch’s house, 8000 St. R.t 28 Holland Patent, who is our C1 Truck Driver Training sponsor. Course will be marked out over a gravel surface and a SAG will be available. All are welcome to enjoy a fun day. Get on your mountain or cyclocross bikes!
June 10 with 11 as rain date: North Country ride will be hosted by Sun Anacker, who is a sponsor and owns and operates Susan M. Anacker Professional Land Surveyor, PLLC. We will leave from her home in Deerfield, 11082 Davis Rd. East for ride and then return to her place for a potluck picnic. Bring a dish to share.
July 22 with 23 as a rain date: Audra Holmes valley and swimming ride. Ride leaves at 10 am from Richfield Springs HS. Leaving at 1030 am sharp! Riding to Otsego Lake. Bring suit if you want to swim.
Century ride, this will be an unsupported ride. The ride will start from Utica and head to Cooperstown. Riders will need to be able to ride for about 25 miles and re-group. The will purchase snacks along the way. Bring extra money for lunch.
Aug. 6: Hinckley Ride and Picnic meet at Hinckley Lake day use area. There will be two routes, 30 & 60 miles. Long ride leaving early. Short ride will get back just a little early and will start charcoal. Club will provide, water, soda, plates & utensils. Riders bring what they want to cook on the grill and a dish to share. County and State would like to do a Utica City to Rome City ride with the mayors and dignitaries. May like the club to help along with the PTNY and I am looking to have Steve Sonne help out with bikes for dignitaries that might need to borrow one. Still working on details.
Sept 9 and 10: Set-up in the morning for the Kirkland Cyclocross Race in Kirkland Town Park on Post St. in Clinton, NY. We will need our club members to volunteer to help set up on Sat. and run the race on Sun.
Sept 16 or 17: Train ride to Old Forge and bike ride back to Utica. Need to have bikes loaded an hour before the 930 am train leaves Union Station. More information to follow.

Oct. 1: Delta Lake Ride and Champagne Brunch. Cost will be posted later. Two rides w/ ~25 & 50 miles. But all reservations and money need to be mailed to Kathy White.
Oct. 29: Cemetery Ride from Chris Welch’s house in Holland Patent, our sponsor from C 1 Truck Driver Training. The ride will leave at 11 am. More information to come.
Jan. 19: Year end Banquet at Harts Hill Inn. Social hour at 530 pm, awards at 630 and dinner at 700, door prizes at 730. Cost will be posted later.
